DATABANK

DATABANK is an online hospital utilization and financial performance indicators tool, which allows for comparison of a wide variety of indicators such as average length of stay, charges and expenses per day, uncollected charges, profitability and personnel statistics. 

The data is submitted monthly and can be compared to preset customized comparison groups in Northeast Ohio, across the state, or even across the nation.  As a result, DATABANK offers the most up-to-date financial and volume indicators comparison data available on the market today.

This tool, created by the Colorado Hospital Association, began in Ohio as a product of The Center for Health Affairs.  In 2011 an agreement between the Ohio Hospital Association, The Center for Health Affairs and the other regional hospital associations expanded the scope of the tool to the entire state. 

Today, The Center’s members enjoy the same service and functionality that they have in the past.  In fact, with more hospitals participating across the state, The Center’s membership can take full advantage of DATABANK features, comparing themselves with a wider variety of peer groups. 

As has been the case for years, The Center offers DATABANK to its members for no cost.
