The start of the new year and legislative session have brought many new faces to Washington’s Capitol Hill and Columbus’ Capitol Square. Newly elected officials and their veteran colleagues face a considerable array of policy issues demanding their attention, not the least of which is healthcare. As lawmakers consider options for balancing budgets and creating health policy, there are a few key factors the Northeast Ohio hospital community would like them to bear in mind.
