NEONI's Healthcare Career Shadowing Statistics
Data contained in these county reports are based on the number of high school students who shadowed in the 2010-2011 academic year by county, school and hospital. The results reflect the collaboration between hospitals and high schools to expose students to the careers of Laboratory Medicine, Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Pharmacy, Physical Therapy, Radiology, and Respiratory Therapy.
Each student who completes a shadowing experience can provide feedback by completing NEONI's Healthcare Career Shadowing Program Student Evaluation. Students rate the shadowing program on seven dimensions, make comments and suggestions, and provide demographical information. Students have continually given the program very high ratings.
