StudentMAX™ Clinical Placement
StudentMAX™ is a web-based clinical placement tool providing unique benefits to nursing education programs and clinical facilities by improving the ease of clinical placements. It drastically decreases the amount of faculty time and effort spent on scheduling clinical placements for nursing students, ultimately boosting student enrollment, increasing graduations and accelerating entry into nursing practice at Ohio clinical facilities.
StudentMAX™, designed by the Oregon Center for Nursing in 2004, is currently used in 12 states and is offered to the entire state of Ohio through NEONI’s exclusive license. Since its Ohio debut in 2006, StudentMAX’s™ clinical placement tool has placed more than 37,000 students from 29 nursing education programs in 28 hospitals.

In the 2009-2010 academic year, 27 hospitals and 29 nursing education programs used StudentMAX™ to schedule 14,146 students in 1,937 clinical placements.
- 2006-2007 (Pilot Year): 2,146 students

- 2008-2009: 13,141 students
- 2009-2010: 14,146 students
This clinical placement tool improves clinical placement capacity, increases access to new clinical sites, and allows greater ease in matching nursing students with clinical placements.
