Sandy Anderson’s 32-year tenure with The Center for Health Affairs allows her a depth and breadth of knowledge related to the Northeast Ohio hospital industry. Serving in a variety of roles, she has experienced firsthand the ongoing challenges of our membership and The Center's initiatives to address those challenges.
Her role as Project Manager and System Administrator for StudentMAX™, NEONI’s online clinical placement tool, enables her to assist hospitals and educational institutions increase efficiency and effectiveness in placing students in clinical rotations. Sandy is responsible for daily operations, client orientation and training. She also works closely with NEONI’s Northeast Ohio StudentMAX™ user’s network to promote product development on a national level.
Since implementing the program in 2006, Sandy has trained 21 Schools of Nursing and 27 clinical sites to utilize StudentMAX™, which resulted in the placement of more than 37,000 students from 29 nursing education programs in 28 hospitals, to date.
Sandy’s foresight and sensitivity to her client’s needs are extremely valued and allow for continued growth of the StudentMAX™ program. Her ability to quickly organize and communicate important information to her clients has caught the attention of the creators of StudentMAX™. As a result, Sandy now assists in software development and testing of all new features prior to implementation. Once upgrades have been rolled-out, she then approaches client-training techniques from the end-user perspective.
