CHA, CHAMPS & GCHA Appoint 2005 Board Officers 

CLEVELAND – The Center for Health Affairs (CHA) and its affiliates, CHAMPS Management Services and The Greater Cleveland Healthcare Association (GCHA), announce newly appointed officers of their 2005 Boards of Trustees.

CHA Board Officers:

• Chairman: Kevin Martin, president and chief executive officer of EMH Regional Medical Center

• Vice Chair: Cynthia Moore-Hardy, chief executive officer of Lake Hospital System

• Treasurer: Emily Drake, senior vice president of Fairport Asset Management,  LLC.

• Secretary: Victor Gelb, president of Victor Gelb, Inc.

 CHAMPS Board Officers:

• Chairman: William Montague, chief executive officer, Louis Stokes, Cleveland VA Medical Center

• Vice Chair: Kevin Miller, FACHE, president & chief executive officer, Ashtabula County Medical Center

• Vice President: J. Christopher Manners, president, Manners Management Company

• Treasurer: L. Kenneth Taylor, executive vice president & chief operating officer, Southwest General Health Center

• Secretary: Cynthia Dunn, chief executive officer, Judson Retirement Community

 GCHA Board Officers:

• Chair: Beverly Lozar, chief administrative officer of South Pointe Hospital

• Vice Chair: Mary Ogrinc, senior vice president of patient care services & chief nursing officer of Lake Hospital System

• Secretary: James Keegan

• Treasurer: Barry Franklin, CPA, executive vice president & chief financial officer of Parma Community General Hospital

The Center for Health Affairs is a hospital trade association representing 35 Northeast Ohio hospitals and serving those organizations and others through a variety of advocacy and business management services. CHA also works to educate the public on issues that affect the delivery of healthcare.
